I am a senior surgical oncologist with over 18 years of experience, trained at two of India’s most respected institutions — Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, and JIPMER.
My work has taken me across India and beyond, allowing me to care for patients from more than 50 countries, each with their own unique stories, fears, hopes, and expectations. I have performed over 8,500 complex surgeries across breast, gastrointestinal, gynaecological, head and neck, urological and thoracic cancers.
As a Director of Surgical Oncology at MIOT Hospital, Chennai, for over 10 years, I helped build advanced cancer care programs, including robotic surgery, organ-preserving approaches, targeted therapies, and multidisciplinary care. Currently, I am shaping the future of cancer care at SRM Prime Hospitals, Ramapuram, Chennai, in the capacity of Clinical Lead and Senior Consultant Dept of Surgical Oncology.
